Helpful hints for winter freezing temperatures 1. Always keep a 1/2 tank of gas in your vehicle if the temperatures stay below freezing for several days 2. Lift your wiper blades off the windshield before scraping and putting the wipers on. Prevents the wiper blades and arms from breaking. During the night keep the blades off the windshield to help prevent them from freezing onto the windshield. 3. Try spraying or coating the door seals with a silicone spray made for rubber moldings to help prevent the doors from freezing. 4. Always work the door handles gently after freezing temperatures. The severe cold weather causes the plastic and metal pieces in the handle to break. If possible park your car in the sun for some thermal warming of the door handles.
